About point 4: there is a French proverb that says "Qui ne dit mot consent", which means, the one that says nothing agrees with what is said. So when gossip starts, I don't think silence should be the answer, but rather a shift to a more positive discussion. Or simply leave the conversation. Silence is not enough in this case.
Good read! My challenge is self control, controlling the impulses to unleash the tongue! Sometimes I just feel like I wish someone would slap on the proverbial piece of duct tape so I have to be silent! It’s my downfall continually.
I will do my best to find quiet amidst the overwhelming distractions from the current regime. It’s so essential for me to give my emotions the space they need to settle, allowing me to respond with thoughtful intention and in a way that truly reflects my values.
Insightful and helpful! Early in my career I was coached that being the first or second person to speak up or ask a question in meeting meant your were one of the smartest in the room. I no longer believe this to be true. Knowing when to speak up and the timing and what to say are more important. Big believer in solitude and silent moments.
Frankly, given your guidelines, I would be silent henceforth!

I am going to recharge today 🙏🏼⚓️
